The magnet is damn wide too. And no, the SA will not work in a free air environment, not well anyway. that was my worry too I don't have the sa8 here with me to see fitment I figure the that sub has a big ass motor and didn't know if it would fit I have the specs but didn't see the point in checking if the setup its self wouldn't work free air Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have never run the SD-2 8, but I am currently running a SD-2 10 in a sealed box and it sounds great.
