fox_racin4
sorry to hear about the amp bro, if it is just the fets that are gone they are replaceable parts. easy fix if that is all that went wrong. I can almost garuntee thats not all thats wrong with it. Something caused them to blow. When they blew it put alot of stress on other componets. 1 Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole

audiofanaticz
^^^will pay $1.00 more then his offer! JOO! GFY!! i need another!! also.. just becasue thats all thats blown, doesnt mean there isnt other componets that arnt damaged/blown/stressed. the amp needs a good once over of all the componets I still need #1 lol But the user asked the parts and what they where, I simply told him what they where. Hence why I asked for other pictures of the components in the power supply. Just like a woofer, you can easily trace down on why the amp blown, and possibly why the protect circuit didnt work. Theres 2 ways to fix amps, the right way and a half ass repair that means your stuck with different amp mosfets from different date codes only for your amp to work again untill its stressed and the old mosfets that where fine blow. If the power supply blows for whatevver reason and you have only a couple blown mosfets then if your smart you replace every mosfet, gate resistor on both rails of the power supply as well as any other damaged piece.

Real96SS
Its weird you said the amp wasn't hot when you checked it because those amps are notorious for getting hot. I had one I bought brand new and even in a spot where air flow wasn't a problem and not playing it full tilt it would still get hot. 1 Quote Vehicle 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche(Co-Co) DNX9980HD 6 Team Fi 15's(King Edition) 3 DC 9k's 8 Nendo PWX 8's 4 Custom Steg 4" Super Tweeters 1 DC Audio 175.4 1 DC Audio 90.4 Rockford 360.3 3 DC Power 370xp Alts(Externally regulated) 21 D1600's 2 D4800's All SMD RCA's AudioTechnix Deadner Viper Alarm My YouTube- http://www.youtube.c...NG?feature=mhee Link to buildlog- http://www.stevemead...4-15s-2-dc-9ks/ Link to UBL- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/165059-ublkings-avalanchecoco-new-build-starting8-king-edition-15-team-fis-in-a-wallyes-a-wall/
