SnowDrifter
D3100: MAX Amps 5000 CA 1360A RC 237min. Ah 110 D7500: MAX Amps 6000 Ah 140 RC 280 CA 1700 Doesn't look like double the battery to me. Cost wise you can get roughly 3 d3100s OR 2 d7500s With 2 d7500s, you get Ah - 280 Rc - 560 Ca - 3400 With 3 d3100s: Ah - 330 Rc - 711 Ca - 4080 So it looks like the same amount of money in d3100s will get you further than if you were to spend it in d7500s Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

CJ18
According to XS, the 7500 is equal to 1.5 D3100s. D3100- $370 D7500- $560 2 D7500s would be equal to 3 D3100s 3 d3100- $1110 2 d7500- $1120
Airborne
How about the weight factor? I've seen quarter panels buckle with too many batteries in the trunK.
Dailyspl
3100s weigh what about 75-80 pounds? 7500 -100 3 3100s- 240 pounds 2 7500s- 200 pounds. For an extra 40 pounds I still think I'm gonna do the 3100s Quote 99 expedition Two 15 inch dc audio xls Ported box tunned to 34 hrtz Soundstream pcx.2000d(better amp soon) 0 gauge big three(soon) Yellow top,(more batts soon)
Nathan @ XSpower
More smaller batteries will give you more instantaneous power, because when you buss them together it optimizes the internal pressure. If you had equal reserve the higher number of smaller batteries will be stronger by far. It will also be more expensive and more work. So, about 22 D680s or 16 D925 or D975 would be a strong option.
