SnowDrifter
My little husky 1/2" drive works great for around the house, but just isn't cutting it for shop duty. In about a month we'll be flooded with people wanting tires and I'm looking for something that won't skip a beat. I know it's 3/4 and I know it's bigger/heavier than a 1/2" drive. I'm not too concerned about the weight. I'm more looking at reliability, usability, and power http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00937894000P ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Pariah
http://www.amazon.com/Ingersoll-Rand-2135TiMAX-2-Inch-Impact-Wrench/dp/B000WMN2GU Best 1/2 gun on the market, I use mine everyday (full time Honda tech). Tons of power (only other gun that matches output is Snap On MG725, and it costs twice as much, and feels like a boat anchor compared to the IR) and I know a dozen other techs that swear by the 2135. Mine is the QTimax, which is the muffled version. It's so quiet it sounds like a toy, then it breaks loose bolts your buddy's gun can't.
steveomgb
i have a air cat its an okay impact but i also own a IR which always shows it up...but my fave is my snap on electric 1/2" drive impact that thing is beast but i would go with an IR product is always amazing last a long time and if there is any problems CS has always been great to deal with

FuriousG
IR 2135 titanium all the way. You say you aren't concerned about weight, but if you try using a 3/4" all day you will regret it. The IR is a beast and it weighs the same as my 3/8" snap on gun. matt14
If you use the 3/4, you will also loose torque from the gun when having to use a reducer for smaller sockets. Get yourself a 1/2" or a really good 3/8. You would be surprised on how much power the 3/8 I.R gun makes.
