Rob's 600hp 1968 Chevelle - This Install is Drop Dead Gorgeous!

Recommended Posts

Rob is a LONG TIME customer of ours. He's been slowly working on his Chevelle over the course of the last few years. Rob, having very little wiring experience, met me at a local gathering about two years ago. Shortly after, he purchased both of my books and has asked hundreds and hundreds of questions. I set Rob up with everything he needed to properly wire his Chevelle, but the work is ALL ROB. The outcome is simply breathtaking.

Guys, this is the cleanest installation that ANY of my customers has done to date (at least that I've seen). I saw the car in person today and my jaw just dropped. And let me tell you, the workmanship on everything - plumbing, mechanical, etc. is equally as top notch.

Take a few minutes and check out Rob's Chevelle - CLICK HERE to see all the details and numerous high resolution photos.

No doubt. Nearly every detail on this Chevelle exudes fine craftsmanship. This is an incredibly nice build for a guy that works 70 hours a week in the heavy equipment sales business.

thats what I find so awesome about it....Its a guy that took the time to read the books, ask questions and do things right the first time.

The engine is a 454 BBC, bored .060 over to 468ci. Compression is I think 10.5:1. Aluminum heads, but I forget which kind. They're worked pretty extensively. Hydraulic roller, but I don't know the specs. The carburetor is a 1050 cfm Holley Dominator. Rob really has no idea of how much HP it will really make, but I think 600 is going to be pretty close.
