That's nice ... but actually, I do not have that much invested in my entire drop kit (not including air bag equipment), but definately not an issue if it's needed ...

From the looks of it, I would have to replace my entire flip kit section from the DJM kit ...

Thank you guys ... Once I get everything done and see that something like this is needed, I will definately look into it further ...

Again ... Thank you guys !!!

The ride quality of bag on axle with monoleaf is nothing compared to bag on bar or even bag on axle with links.

My apologies Sir ... But I just caught on to something in particular you said here ... Monoleaf

I am not changing my leaf springs in any way, they will remain stock ... Just installing the Flip Kit, shock extenders, and adding helper Air bags ... oh, and I've had rear air shocks, but the will be going away for stock shocks ...

I'm not wanting to go any lower than 6" ... Too much things need to be cut / trimmed for clearance as it is ...

I am really hoping that we can get all of the clearance issues done before White lightning goes on the trailer thursday for Unified World Finals in Huntsville ...

That would be nice ...

In that case you're fine. I also assumed you would be pulling part of the leaf pack leaving the mono. Seeing that setup and reading "Air Ride" I didn't think you meant "Air Helpers".

I have a DJM flip kit and AirLift helpers on my '96 Tahoe. There is some rear bump stutter, but I think it's likely due to worn out leaf eye bushings. The flip kit is specific to a 2wd Tahoe but the bag kit is for a 2500 pickup and mounts behind my axle instead of in front because nobody makes that kit for mine. Then I had to find some soft bump stops to keep the U-joint off my gas tank at hard bottom. My tank has a "duckbill" extension over the driveshaft because mine is a 4wd. I think the stops actually came off of an '07 Dodge Caravan and were much cheaper and softer than any aftermarket pieces I could find. They have a threaded stud so mounting was simple bolt in--just had to find a metric nut that fit. I've had the DJM and the BellTech shocks and both are junk. Currently measuring up to see what I can fit from QA1. Mine is a daily driver and I have kids so ride quality matters.

Static drops are my bag.

The only thing that I do not like about this whole dorp / bag thing is I have to rework my dual exhaust system ...

This really sux because it sounds SOOO good and costed me good penny or two to have installed ... Now it's probably going to cost me a good hundred or so to get the exhaust redone from the front of the rear end to the outer edges where they sit now ... Both sides have clearance issues with the rear end ... Something I was hoping would not happen cause i told the Exhaust guy that I would most likely lower this truck and I thought he factored that in for me. He does great work and it is going lower that I ever anticipated. I'm sure that he will give me a good deal and do a really good job on getting this problem corrected for me ... oh well, shit happens I guess ...
