Its slightly less annoying than the previous versions. It seems a bit snappier, but I'm running it on the newest core i5 HP elitebook with 8 gigs of ram and an SSD (which benched at 500meg/sec on this laptop) so that may have something to do with it.

I don't see much of a difference. It seems easier to go through open programs, but I still haven't figured out how to close anything.

if your trying to close the metro apps like music, store, and photos bring your mouse to the top left corner of the screen and slide down. (like opening the charm menu) then just right click and select close.
