Hey everyone i am new to the site and forum i was wondering if anyone could help me out with any knowledge they have on the subject. I am building a custom build for my truck which is a 2000 silverado extended cab, and i cant find anything out there on what im looking for exactly. my goal is to build a ported box to specs for 4 Alpine 1043D subwoofers i would like the box to be ported and as loud as possible. I have a Rockford Fosgate t1500-1bdcp that is going to power the whole system and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on a box that would fit my truck preferably on the bench seat in the back but i can take the bench out if push come to shove please help out if you can. Thanks.

You don't want an "on the seat" box. They aren't safe and they will sound like shit compared to a proper enclosure. If you're willing to remove the seat, don't even think twice, remove it. From there I suggest ALL 4 10s facing up, port up on the drivers side. I can't suggest how much port because you didn't say EXACTLY what model sub you're running. 1043D it's what Alpine will call all of their 10" Dual 4 ohm coil subs. Are they Type E,S,R, or X?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I'm sure one of the Mods will transfer this thread to the correct section ...

Not really a need to bash the guy yet since this was his first post / thread on SMD ...
