What tone does every body use? Setting amp gain

Recommended Posts

Multi set up I use 60hz. 1 amp setup, all by ear

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

i set mine by ear too when theres not multiple bass amps.....

when dealing with MBA (see above) i use a dmm and 50-60hz depending on how i feel.  I dont have to do that w/the new RF amps though.  Set one gain and they all follow the leader (master/slave)  it fuckin RULES im tellin you.

So you set the T4000.1s with a dmm or by ear? You just had to set one T4000.1 (master amp) gain and not even touch the other amps gain or freq (slaved amps)?

well its still be considered multi amps i believe so he would have to use the dmm. otherwise who knows what would happen. what im wondering is how you keep them in phase

thats a fosgate thing. strapping would taek care of it, but with subs on individual amps just "linked" together, all that must be solved at the manufactuer..

i suppose you could go through each piece and mic it, jeezzz  got some time there.
