thesuperiorfighter Posted October 30, 2013 Report Share Posted October 30, 2013 I am starting a build for my Dodge Charger and i have decided on getting 2 FI Team 15's powered by 4 Rockford 2500.1 amps. I am in need of a 6.5 component set that is VERY CLEAR but will also be loud enough to keep up with the bass. I am a major bass head ,but i love a crystal clear system so i am on a search for a component set that can satisfy my clarity wants but also loud enough to hear clearly over the bass. I was planning on running all of my mids and highs on Rockford amps, but if there is a better choice for an amp then i am all ears. What do you guys think about the Hertz HSK 165XL? Properly installed and powered, it should do as good a job as any other high end single set of getting loud and sounding clear. The owner at world finals was running a 6.5 passive component set and a single 8 on a 35 year old amp and placed 3rd in masters. Truly an unbelievable component set and takes lots and lots and lots and lots of power.
