Mine had the same black stuff leaking, but only because it got punctured on the bottom.

Xs told me to seal it with a plastic epoxy, I did and its been fine ever since

Just the 5 minute epoxy for plastics?

First off: sprinkle baking soda and water on whatever it spilled on. If it's acid, you'll know because it foams. And if that's the case, you want to neutralize it so it doesn't eat through anything.

It could very well be acid, but I'm surprised it's leaking. Those batteries are sealed except from over-pressure vent caps under the sticker that goes across the top of the battery. I'll wait for Nathan to chime in though. I don't want to speak for him

Yeah

I didn't see it physically leaking but knew it did. They were in a wooden box and when I pulled them there was a black stain under it and like dried black stuff

Think I drilled into it from underneath, fail

Forgot exactly what xs said but just told me to seal it up and run it
