Kings dont look that bad anymore. Rudy Gay, Mclemore, Cousins and some key role players. I give it 1-2 more seasons ( not including this one) before they are in the post season

That's the plan. As far as coach, I have no idea what they were thinking. Jackson was ready to accept and they hired this fheg. Good decent coach but not capable of handling superstars. With his time in Phoenix, who'd he have? Nash and Stoudamire. Good decent players but not the Kobe Bryant and Gasol type. Especially not with Dwight in there. Meanwhile Jackson has dealt with the stars and was ready to bitchslap Dwight for common sense lol.

I've heard rumors that they're gonna go after LeBron. I don't ever see or imagine LeBron being a Laker, but supposedly that's going to be a move of theirs. I am a Laker fan and am quite scared of what the Lakers will look like without Kobe. When he hangs up the uniform, puts the shoes away, then what? Bunch of average mediocre players? Become like the Jazz, Rockets, etc? It's proven that the Lakers do not develop talent. They go get it in free agency/trades. There's been very few pure Lakers, who get drafted or go there early in career and stay there for entire career. So I'm not sure a player, such as LeBron, would want to go there and be...THE TEAM... like he was in Cleveland. Think too many players want to play together and just feel that the Lakers are pretty much doomed once Kobe leaves.

I have thought and will always think, the Lakers main problem is actually Kobe. While he's a great player (or was, as this year he just can't stay healthy as he's out for another month basically), his salary is KILLING them. When you have, what is it, like 78 million to spend before you owe luxury taxes, and his salary is over 30 million? You now have to get players that'll compliment him and are just average. That's why Brady and Manning both took salary cuts. If I recall right, Brady had few more years on his contract and told management to re-do his contract for less so they can get better players. I know when Manning negotiated with the Colts, he could've cleaned house. Do the max deal, no problem. Didn't, cause wanted management to go get players. So with Kobe, dude already rich as shit. After his playing days are over, he'll still make millions a year from all the endorsements. Take a pay cut and perhaps you'll have a better team than yourself, gasol, and a whole bunch of bench players. Just imagine if he went from his 30+ million down to like 12 million. 18 million free, you can easily get a few good key players. When become free agents, could easily get a Kyrie Irving, a Asik, etc. I mean look at the Heat. The big 3 all took paycuts to do that. LeBron could've easily taken max, Wade probably could've also, and Bosh could've gotten more. But all settled for less and look what happened. Sure, over the tax limit but, not as much as they would be if max deals... if they could even be on the same team with max deals haha.

As far as the Kings, what they need is a new overhaul. They're now getting players but the coach sucks, owner is bad, etc. Idk if he's still there (haven't paid much attention) but Tyreke Evans. He is a beast for how young he is. He was the team. Cause Cousins? Mini Dwight/Bynum. Throws little temper tantrums and all. Doesn't give you that 100%. Until that overhaul happens, I don't see them doing anything. Be just like the Nets. Might have good players but... not doing shit. 14-21? And you have those players? Or New York.

Tyreke Evens is with the Pelicans now. His problem was his jump shot-none. He has been in and out this year so far, injuries. Cousin could be a great player if he can just keep his temper to a minimum. Kings are gonna be there for sure in a couple of years. There coach- Keith Smart was the Warriors coach for a season before Coach Jackson came along. He is ok but SAC is a very small market and hard ( just like the warriors ) to get players/coaches to go there .

Alright, who is excited about the Dunk contest. I think this is going to be a great one and a lot better then the ones of past years. Paul George, Jon Wall, Harrison barnes, Damian Lillard, Terrance Ross and Ben Mclemore. Some high flyers in there. Cant wait.

Yea I feel you on that. But at least it will be a much better contest and show then when we had Derozon, Buttinger, Ibaka and Mcgee.
