All the info on the Saz-3500.1 I can possibly get.

Recommended Posts

Hey all. I'm on the hunt for a powerhouse amp, And I have a few questions. Does the Saz share a board with any other amp? What is this amplifier really capable of on stiff voltage. I am comparing this to two other 3500's from different companies( not going to start a vs thread) and I want to do my homework before dropping the money. Anyone running these amps or own one? Pros and cons

Lastly, is the price jump justified over something like an AQ-3500.1? Where is that extra money being spent, the name and its resale value? Or is built using better parts?

Thanks everyone, I've been posting a lot to keep my mind of some things, so I'm sorry.

The Sundown 3500 is a solid amp.

It is unique in it's components and final design.

Cost for amplifiers goes into build quality, component quality, QC, warranty support, as well as performance.

That being said, you get an amp that is capable of 4000-4500W on decent electrical. Is extremely durable and reliable.

Will sound clean over it's entire life.

And if it ever does have issues, you have a company with a great track record for service to back it up.

Sundown amplifiers are tanks. They go and go and go, and dont quit. The board is korean, built to last, and does every bit of that 3500 and then some.

Most of your good amps are Korean made from same build house. Designed in USA built in Korea. A lot of them closely look alike. There are even amps from China that are good also.

How does it only have single 0 gauge inputs? They work obviously but at 4,000 plus watts couldn't the amperage exceed what a single run of 0 gauge can put up with?

Just makes me nervous.

If this buys you peace of mind im sure the amp would be thankful.

I run 2 SAZ-3500D's with Toolmaker Dual inputs and have never had an issue, they are both wired down to 1/2 ohm. I used to run a single SAZ-3500D on two

SA-12's with no problems. They are very solid amps and will do well over 3500 watts if you give them good, clean power.
