BASShead12
So I bought a crescendo bc2000d and 1/0 gauge to run to it and do big 3. I noticed the amp doesn't have fuses on it do I need to put another fuse closer to the amp besides the fuse next to the car battery? Cardboardcat15
Yes, you do. In your owners manual it should give you the recommended fuse rating. My Channel on YouTube. Barnett 313
Yes you do, some guys put them by the battery and inside. What size box do you have for the two RF 12''s ?
hazestorm23
Yea man make sure you buy legit fuses and fuse blocks otherwise the ratings could be off and you might not get full power ran all the way to your amp

SnowDrifter
No, you don't need 2 fuses. You only need 1 fuse on the positive wire going to the amp, and it should be as close to the battery as possible. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Krakin
Yea man make sure you buy legit fuses and fuse blocks otherwise the ratings could be off and you might not get full power ran all the way to your amp A legitimate ANL would cost quite a bit more than the ones that are represented on the car audio market. Ones for car audio are almost all just fuses that fit inside of an ANL fuse holder. These are true ANL fuses: http://www.cooperindustries.com/content/dam/public/bussmann/Electrical/Resources/Data%20Sheets/Bus_Ele_DS_2024_ANL.pdf But buying something from SHCA or other sellers will work fine. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
