BAD NEWS~~ So long story short i have a pile of equipment a bunch of cut and crimped 1/0 couple boxes of speakers and... no truck :( Ill be getting it back in about a week as its at the garage getting head gaskets replaced. luckily i caught it in time and no extreme damage was done to the motor. Heads will be sent out to get re-planed and should return by middle of the week. This really sucks but once i get the truck back in the driveway all ill have to do is install everything. So please bare with me as i wont have any real progress for a few days.. pics of oem integration and shots of equipment otw

Nice start...if you ever want to upgrade look up Reelfish on here. His S-10 slam on low power.

Thanks man. Ive been following the forum for a few years now. Just never posted much :) I will definitely look into his ride. And i will upgrade at some point more than likely this spring, in a new vehicle (will be sq)

  • 2 weeks later...

Well ive got some updates... FINALY!! Ran into a fiasco with the machinist that ill put in a separate post so that if you dont care you dont have to read it. Soo Heads have arived back at the garage, got my gasket/bolt kit to redo literally all the mounting of the heads, headers, intake (both since its two parts) valve covers, EGR. Pretty excited to get every thing back together. Will do coolant and oil flush n fills if i get a chance before work.

All of this means ill be back to the build come this weekend!! still waiting on sub to arrive :/ Everything else is waiting to be installed!

THE FIASCO WITH THE MACHINIST **

Soo in order to get my heads reconditioned i had the shop send them out to our local parts store. Now from there they send them an hour away to their main warehouse. Once the warehouse has recieved them they send them across town to the machinist. If you havent found a problem with this system yet, hold on it gets better. Some one must have had a bit of a brain fart or just made a careless assumption. When the parts store sent the heads to the warehouse they for some reason neglected to attach the parts sheet/instructions to the package. This could have been fixed with a simple phone call but i digress. So when the warehouse received the shipment they decided to throw it on a pallet with a few more sets of heads and a couple engine blocks to which they would send off to the machinist a couple days later, again with no labels or reasoning. It had been 5-6 days since we sent out the heads so we figured wed see how the progress was going. Upon asking the machine shop stated they didnt have any heads for my truck but would look around. A few hours later we got a call back. They were still on the pallet, under a desk, in the back room... Two days later they called again asking what we wanted done to them. After about a 15 minute phone call they were completely aware of what to do with them. The next day (yesterday) they arived at the garage. Now i understand that things happen but it was only a few decisions, a few minutes of time that could have made this a much more productive situation. Morel of the story- Dont trust the system ;)
