Thats's a pretty bad rust spot. Good idea, while things are pulled apart to do some wiring

Yea there was about a 22" crack in the seam where the cab side rolls around and meets the back wall so I bought some 3M 5200 and went ahead and ran a bead on the seams on both sides of the cab rear wall. Here's the pic of the crack, you have to look but it's visible.. 2012-11-271045571_zpsc860dacc.jpg

Here is the original wiring that my local shop did when they did original install on my truck in 2008. I started gutting the cab at this point.2012-11-24145059_zpsdb0f843a.jpg This is where I began to think about removing the 3rd seat to put the D1200 battery in there.. 2012-11-24145042_zpsb5005688.jpg

Good luck man....

These are all old pics, truck has been fixed and the install is "done" for now. Until I get the rest of the speakers, build a new box/amp rack, start door panels and replace the BA 6.5's in the kicks.

This is when I got the truck back from the body shop.... I also had the rear window removed to check for any signs of leaks that caused the rusted cab corner panel that was removed. Glass company cut up my tint with his razor knife while taking it out and they refused to replace it because it was aftermarket window tint not "factory" tint(Complete BS IMO).... So the body shop owner had it replaced at his cost but they had to put up 2 layers of tint to match what was there originally, which was dark as I could get it legally.. 2013-01-12123315_zps77604665.jpg2013-01-121233321_zpsdbbee177.jpg
