Bags on coil overs Stuts Subaru

Recommended Posts

ok I got a Subaru Legacy 1996 and I was looking at my option and it looks to be the best option is to get coil overs and replace the springs with bags as I already have GReddy Coil overs its a matter of getting http://www.universalairsuspension.com/store2/catalog/universal-suspension-aero-sport-universal-p-31.html these and tanks and what not instead of buying a complete kit my question is

What do I need to do to mod my coil overs to take these bags?

and what are your overall thoughts on this setup?

Just look for an airstrut instead of pieceing it togeather.

With "that" bag You pull your coil overs apart and put the bag inplace of the coil. You need to get the proper bag/plate tho so it bolts up

I'm fine about pulling the coil overs apart and I was thinking of having it sit on a wider plate top and bottom that its bolted on to that I would drill for the line and the bolts to go through

You will just need to check with universal air suspension to see if they make brackets for your car. look on their gallery to see if its been done on your year and model. Their bags work with 90% of the coil overs out there. Ive been using their aero sport bags for years and they work great.
