oldsoundguy
I am a mechanic not a body man. I wish I had the skill and patients to do body work and paint. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
bcbrassard
Good progress today. I like the new struts. Coil compressor worked great. Best $30 i spent on this build. I put the trans-axles in first, super simple to install. Driver side... Great deal for $90 but shipping was $90 too but i am sure a shop would charge more than $180 to do both. More like 6x that amount. Passenger side... Strut install on driver side... 1 1/2" lowering coils. Passenger side.... Tomorrow i should be able to get the front end done. oldsoundguy
I think its going to look awesome after you get it put back together and on the ground. The lowering springs are going to make a nice difference in the stance. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

bcbrassard
So it took me a few hours to mount front bumper. Trying not to do any damage to the paint. Wearing latex gloves and a few adjustments and i got it. Cleaning up parts as i am putting them back on. Side marker lights re-tinted. Mud flaps turned out good. Bought new inner fender well splash guards a couple years ago so they just needed to be cleaned up to look like new again. Car was missing most of its engine splash guards so i found some cheep but shipping charges rapped the hell out of me. $80 for all the guards and $150 to ship a 8 lbs box. What was i to do... I had to have them. And yes, i removed the stickers after i took the picture. other side.... Tomorrow get the grille installed and work on back end. Seen a YouTube video of a 04 with 1291 hp it was AWD and pretty badass. World record holder for EVO HP.

The suspension & front end are my favorite parts of the car besides the system. It should be done mid next week, busy weekend with it being Easter. bcbrassard
I worked on the car for a few hours late last night. I like the grille color theme. Front and rear splash guards look good.
