You might have to sort of fab a mount and just use a alt for a different vehicle. If you can fit 4-5 D3100s and fab for the biggest under the hood, that is the route that I would go. And invites in an intelli charger while you're at it because those things are going to need constant charging. And something to accurately read voltage.
