meade916
i just google'd overkill and they forwarded me here lol looks great not really overkill if you are on triple monitors (2560x1080) and soon to be 7680x1440 thanks! When I read this my pcs fan kicked on and started making this weird noise. I had to reassure it that I wasn't going to try and make it do something crazy like this before it stopped. hahah that is funny Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! bmxscion
Just a question about water cooling....I know they make heatsinks for water cooling RAM. Is that even something that would be necessary to consider? Or does just good airflow from fans suffice? I am sure water cooling the RAM would add some significant cost to the cooling system. Everything looks super awesome on this rig and I can't wait to see the radiators when they come in! I am surprised they don't have a block for the cables available LOL. Yes, they have blocks for ram - but to me it's another pain in the ass i don't need at this point. What i am doing is already very nerve racking (with the GPU's). The ram shouldn't get hot enough to worry about it. jvoytko
Actually Steve, you'd be very surprised at how hot those RAM sticks will get. I had one at home that I had shut off to upgrade the RAM from 16GB to 32GB and I had to let it sit for a few minutes and cool before I could even touch them. Then again, I was using it pretty hard at 100% memory usage at all times.
audiofanaticz
Yea, I guess they are working on a new HDMI version but its progression so far is still rather slow, and no where near what Display Port v1.2 can do. Which they are working on DisplayPort v1.3 currently, and that will be able to run up to 8k resoulition monitors.... :shok: :shok: But like I said both our cards have display port 1.2 so no worries there

Dual-link DVI supports 2560x1600@60Hz. My 30" Dell is running off a DVI cable. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . meade916
The scary part about doing this is that it is ALL or nothing. If it leaks, i am FUXORE'D. I have to be very careful with everything. Ok now that i have the radiators in, it is time to grab my CURRENT gaming PC and swipe the GTX 780's out of it. I am putting my old GTX 580's back in and giving it to my youngest son. He is happy as hell right about now.
