gattiboy13
Massive D800.4 - I am now looking into the Massive audio 4 channel amp. It has a cea rating of 120x4 and 240x4 in 4 and 2 ohm. The fuse on amp is a single 40amp fuse...does this seem right, that it will do rated as stated? severancej
My Rockford P400-4 is rated at 50x4 @4 ohms...100x4 @2 ohms and requires an 80amp fuse to be installed. I'm not sure i can believe the specs are accurate on that massive. 98' dodge ram 140A alt Big 3 XS D2700 JVC kd-r310 Rockford T500-1BDCP 2 Sundown E12 Ported 4cubes 35hz Rockford P400-4 2 Infinity reference 3way 6x9 2 Polk DB 5 1/4 2x layer dynamat all doors
Chris Hammer
Take CEA ratings and throw them out the window. if the amp was 100% efficient in a perfect environment you would get 480w on 12v....max possible on 14.4 would be 576w....SO NO... I dont even care to look at itheir site to see what one it is MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going. Chris Hammer
Thats because your rockford is a quality piece of gear. Might as well go buy some audiooope instead of that massive amp...at least their fuse sizes would ALLOW them to make close to rated power. Is this to power the components you made a bunch of threads about trying to pick? Please dont do that with 4 channel amps...use the search function here and go research the amps you want to know about. chances are if its quality gear there will be legitimate threads showing that they are. you really need 200w a channel? http://www.ct-sounds.com/1254.html Thats quality right there..rated at 12v.. gonnaput out closer to 200w each channel..I would bet on it.
