im45pl
HI, I posted a thread about this car a while ago now and it has been archived so I thought I would start a new log. Car is a 1974 HQ Holden Panelvan, it has a 253 cubic inch V8 (eventually to be replaced with an ls motor) and has been painted satin black. The old build had 12 x 15 inch Fusion power plant subs with Fusion mids and highs, scored a best of 153.8@39hz The new system will consist of H/U : cheap clarion touch screen Eq : Memphis Line Driver : Memphis Battery : 12 x Fullriver HC110 Alt : Excessive Amperage 300amp or two rebuilt alts, still have to decide exactly Mids and highs amp : 2 x Mosconi as200.4 and 2 massive audio 120x4 Sub amp : 4 x DC 5.0k Mids and highs : 8 x FT1 tweets, 16 x PWX 6.5 mids, 4 x PWX 8 mids Subs : 4 x DC LVL6 18s with carbon cones Cable : Sky High Power and speaker (rca still not decided but need soon) Deadener : Dynamat A couple of pics of the car and the first build along with a couple of vids: some random vids, not great quality TEAM DC AUSTRALIA My_Build_Log
im45pl
some photos of the stripdown of the old build and some of the new build and some of the gear ( i am waiting for cable and front end to get here) carbon fibre cone and my personal fav - dat ass next to an XL now i have limited time to work on this so this part will take some time to update, basically the shell is steel reinforced and a minimum of two layers of 3/4 thick. There is expanding foam filling the gap between the roof and the box, also the sides and the box. It is very solid already but as the baffles and bracing go in it will be extremely strong. steel is 25mm sqaure @3mm thick TEAM DC AUSTRALIA My_Build_Log
im45pl
and yet more pics the box will be a 6th order bandpass, but will wait to I test it to see if it works or not TEAM DC AUSTRALIA My_Build_Log

Keith77
Bad ass. im tuned in for this Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
