The only amps I've tested with both methods are the Orion 225 HCCA amps and got within a few watts of my old test methods. I'm loving the Amp Dyno, just need to win the lottery so I can stay home and test them all day! I got the dyno mainly to test my old school amps to compare to the crazy Internet myths. Funny part is some of those I'm getting WAY less than people expect and they claim there are problems also. The AD-1 doesn't care the brand, model or age of the amp, it just measures the output wattage in 3 different modes.
