Toxicmissile
I have a truck i would like to install a nice sound system in. But the electrical systemis 24v an all amps i have is 12v. What i'm wondering is if it possible to add a 12v alternator in addition to the 24v and use it in a seperate circuit just for the sound system? Or will the interfere with each other? Are there other alternatives?
Noel989
What kind of car you have that runs at 24 volts? Build Log - http://www.stevemead...-cruiser-el-pt/
STEvil
You could connect the setup to just one battery if your truck is using two batteries in series to produce 24v. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
