Andy Bottiglieri
Hey guys,So I have a subwoofer amp in thats fused at the battery with a 150amp anl fuse. Im going to install an amp for my doors and this amp needs an 80 amp fuse. If I buy a non fused distro block to split the one power wire from the battery, what size fuse would I need up at the battery?Thanks!-Andy-
alaskanzx5
get a distro block and add a fuse between the distro and both amps. Check the fuse rating for the wire going from front to back and change that fuse to the recommended fuse size for the wire. with a 150 amp fuse for the sub amp and a 80 amp fuse for the door amp you should be using 0/1 gauge from the front battery to the rear battery for the best result. Most 0/gauge that is good has a 250-300 amp rating. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
