yea... apparently german cars a bitchy with their computer systems lol..all you need is something with a shock sensor and window breaker sensor.. then get yourself a gun, because all alarms do is alert you that someone is messing with your car lol it's up to you to defend it

I wouldn't put anything on my cars except Viper.

2017 Chevrolet Silverado LT CC - Will be running 2-3 DC Audion M3 8s, unsure of amp, Mechman 320 amp alt.

2005 Ford F150 - Bagged on 24s, fully shaved, raised bed floor.

Viper 5704v or Prestige APS997 are the alarms we carry at my job.

Viper is 269 Installed + your module if your car needs it.

Prestige is 169 Installed + module if needed.

Both are nice alarms, Id run the Viper if you have the money.

Better company, longer range, KeyFOB looks alot better + more functions on it.

I'd agree with flashlight. Some shops do hackjob work. That being said, I will always go with viper 2-ways....But you stand to pay a little less buying the alarm from the people installing it. I'd say 250 installed is on the cheap side.

I had a prestige. Hated it. We had one on my wife's car, hated it. Remote had short range and sometimes you would have to hit the button multiple times to get it to work. That was from day one and we even tried new batteries.

My last car I had a viper with 2 way pager. Loved it. And it was around $250 installed
