dude honestly its the way you went about it. If you just asked that asked in your first post instead of saying is it made of gold its a different story.....there is to many people that come on here just wanting to start shit. SO to answer your question....Its Silver tinned for corrosion resistance, oversized, and extremely flexible. Its just good wire....Im sure Tony will chime in as well

Think about it... You are paying for the cost to mine copper, the cost of wages of the workers, the cost of melting and purifying copper, cost of machining and stretching it into 7000 individual strands, then tinning each of those strands, wrapping them, putting them together into a final product. Not to mention transportation/shipping costs for each one of those steps.

Plus pricing depends on the volume of wire you can push through. Given that Tony's main focus is on wiring and relay kits, it wouldn't make sense to undersell himself on raw wire

not all wires are oversized. try getting oversized wire from walmart. or the cheap stuff they try to push at local shops. ive seen 1/0g that looked like 4gauge at a local dealer for 6-7 a foot. wasn't ofc wire either.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

You did notice if you buy 10+ feet it drops the price to $6 a foot? Do you also know that CE offers a 10% discount to SMD members? So really it's $5.40 a foot.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

so called reputable brands don't always oversize. street wire is so called one of the best, how many people who know what good wire is use it? I haven't seen anyone use it on this forum. the car I have right now came with street wire, ripped it out like it was a disease and tossed it. so called 8gauge, was thinner then my Rockford 16 gauge.
