IanAlvarez
I recently change my factory unit for a Pioneer DEH-X7500S and it came with a 5 band equalizer which consist in 100Hz, 315Hz, 1.25kHz, 3.15kHz and 8kHz, I dont know much about tuning except for some reading i have done in the forum, but I was hoping someone can give me some advice. I will appreciate very much.
oldsoundguy
Most everyone sets the eq to flat. Me on the other hand don't boost my bass but I do a little on the highs. Also most say not to go above zero ( flat) but to tune below that so as not to introduce clipping. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
IanAlvarez
I been reading and notice that most people said that those kind of decks clip at around 45 and 50 range. so i was wondering if i have to turn the volume to that point or just tuning at some more lower volume
oldsoundguy
I usually tune it for high volume. I turn off my sub cause I am not boosting that, then turn up a good song with goo highs and mids and adjust by ear. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
