teamjeffrey
i would add another battery and just do a big three upgrade and see what your voltage drop is Quote people who have bought from me Team Bassick (ALPINE) Purplehaze nidus head unit sony dsx-s310btxsubs 2 12 incriminator audio king of basssubs amp incriminator audio 20.1mids/highs mids/highs amp incriminator audio 6.4equalizer clarioncrossover interfirealternator 1 mechman 240ampbattery's xs power 1 d2100 2 d3100sky high car audio 1/0 awg ofc wires memphis car audio 1/0 ofcxs power xs flex 4 awg sky high car audio 8 gauge ofc sky high car audio 12 gauge ofc t spec rca check out my building log http://www.stevemead...frey-build-log/http://www.stevemead...d-other-things/check out audio gear i have for salehttp://www.stevemead...51#entry1595151
MikeyL95
I didn't really want to mix my Autocraft silver (cheap advance auto battery) and the XS. Edit----------- I leave for basic in April and will go 3 months without my car so I'll get it back around July. Would it make a difference in performance if I threw a D3400 in the rear with the Autocraft until then? Hell my mom has access to my bank account so I could get her to order the D3400 and my dad install it while I'm still in basic when I start getting paid. Opinions? teamjeffrey
if it is that d3400 would kill it plus it's not a good idea to mix different types of battery i would just replace that battery with what ever the biggest xs you can fit and add a second battery and if you have a battery charger that compatible with agm that will charge at no higher then 14.4 i would just leave your car on the charger as long as it over charge the battery like xs power chargers will stop when the battery is fully charged and stay maintenance mode till you turn it off Quote people who have bought from me Team Bassick (ALPINE) Purplehaze nidus head unit sony dsx-s310btxsubs 2 12 incriminator audio king of basssubs amp incriminator audio 20.1mids/highs mids/highs amp incriminator audio 6.4equalizer clarioncrossover interfirealternator 1 mechman 240ampbattery's xs power 1 d2100 2 d3100sky high car audio 1/0 awg ofc wires memphis car audio 1/0 ofcxs power xs flex 4 awg sky high car audio 8 gauge ofc sky high car audio 12 gauge ofc t spec rca check out my building log http://www.stevemead...frey-build-log/http://www.stevemead...d-other-things/check out audio gear i have for salehttp://www.stevemead...51#entry1595151
MikeyL95
Would it be better to buy a D3400 for the front and upgrade my alternator? If y'all think I should upgrade alternator, should I get a 160 or 200 amp?
teamjeffrey
if you can fit a d3400 under the hood do that and another d3400 or d3100 in the rear and see what your voltage drop if it's below 12.3 i would upgrade your alt Quote people who have bought from me Team Bassick (ALPINE) Purplehaze nidus head unit sony dsx-s310btxsubs 2 12 incriminator audio king of basssubs amp incriminator audio 20.1mids/highs mids/highs amp incriminator audio 6.4equalizer clarioncrossover interfirealternator 1 mechman 240ampbattery's xs power 1 d2100 2 d3100sky high car audio 1/0 awg ofc wires memphis car audio 1/0 ofcxs power xs flex 4 awg sky high car audio 8 gauge ofc sky high car audio 12 gauge ofc t spec rca check out my building log http://www.stevemead...frey-build-log/http://www.stevemead...d-other-things/check out audio gear i have for salehttp://www.stevemead...51#entry1595151
MikeyL95
well I'm a little under $200 short on the rear battery but I'm going to see what I can do here in the next few days and if I can come up with the extra bit of money I'll go ahead and get the 2nd D3400. Otherwise, it'll be a few months.
