Hello everyone. I am very excited my precision power black ice bk1800.1d showed up a couple days ago. I got a smoking deal on this amp so I figured what the heck I will give it a shot. Wish I had an amp dyno available to see its true power, but for my plans even if it doesn't do more than rated it will work great. Overall this amp looks great and I am very pleased with the looks of it. It has 0 gauge power and ground inputs and calls for a 160A external fuse. Well enough talk and on with the pics.

Edit: Moved pics around in photobucket

Sorry I promised my buddy that hooked me up I wouldn't talk pricing, but SonicElectronix has them for $200 shipped to the lower 48. Shipping is what kills me because of being in Alaska. I really wanted to grab one up because according to the 2014 PPI catalog this amp won't be available anymore and I really like the looks of it better than the new black ice amps. I hope to have it running by the end of the day.

  • 1 year later...

they have shown on the amp dyno that the p.1000.1 does more than rated power . I am thinking the black ice is more inexpensive . looks like the guts of some of the power acoustik amps ,and might not do rated ,but I would also have to say wait and see. Some of the soundstream amps also do rated and some do not . Ive noticed that most of the amps they offer that say 1000 watts do rated power ,but the 6000 watt tarantulas versions does not ...still 3k from a 250$ amp is not bad ...but thats just from seeing them on youtube. I wonder if they last past the 1 year warranty?
