Kevin Gregg and Pop Pugh (Facebook profiles) Here is my story.... I get a Facebook message from Kevin Gregg that he wants to find an amp for his "friend" Pop Pugh. I have my Digital Design M4A for sale and Mr. Pop Pugh buys the amp via Paypal. The amp is professionally packaged with bubble wrap, popcorn, and a second box on the outside of the first box. The amp is sent via UPS and fully insured and made SIGN FOR upon delivery. The day the amp arrives, I receive a message saying the amp is completely broken. I receive pictures that are clearly not my amp. There and many extra screw holes on the mounting lip (That were never there), and the RCA has been clearly removed and placed inside the amp and pushed through the hole. The scam concluded with these two SCAMMERS -->( Kevin Gregg and Pop Pugh ) threatening to file a Paypal claim against me. I spoke with other members on here who know Kevin and his scam. I am not out any money, but Paypal may have to pay the insurance, if the fraud department falls for it. It makes me extremely irritated to deal with idiots like these two. I want to warn all my SMD friends to STAY AWAY from these two SCAMMERS. I asked Kevin for a FULL length, uncut video of the broken amp with an immediate ZOOMING in on the serial number on the amp and he did not respond. HMM I am available for any questions and to dispute this claim ANYTIME. I have pictures of my amps before they were sent and with serial numbers. Sorry for the loss of the amp though, and hope everything works out in the end. audiofanaticz Posted February 2, 2014 Report Share Posted February 2, 2014 Anytime I ship an amp (either for sale or loaning it to someone) and subs, alts, anything. I take video of the packaging process, recording the date and time on multiple devices. 1 long video, unedited, no clips edited in. If this would have been done your ass would be protected since these are 2 clearly different amps judging from what your saying. I have kevin dude as a friend on facebook, but dont know the clown. My advice to you would be to scour to find any of his pics on his account of the broken amp he is trying to claim for proof in your defense because it will be greatly needed most likely since paypal loves to side with the buyer on most cases. I could be wrong, but why would you go through the trouble to break a perfectly good amp just to win the claim? Then your stuck with 2 broke amps.....I guess they figured it would go in the favor. What I meant was if they went through the trouble to break the amp they got from you as well that would be a shame just to try and win the claim. Hopefully that makes more sense. I know they sent you a pic of a different amp, I was saying if they went through the trouble to do the same thing to your amp they got thats beyond belief to me. I was peeping their FB pics to see if they had that other amp in any pics, but I didn't see it. Find an install of theirs with that amp in it...may help?
