I get that generally you can't run them lower than recomended but a lot of these older amps CAN and DO run lower impedances than what the manufacture states without issue. I ran it @ 2ohms for a month and got a hell of a lot more noticable output and it didn't seem to run any hotter than normal. It's still a possibility that it will run that way without issue. Derek Dwiz will be tested his 2300 @ 2ohms mono so we'll get to see how it does. People tend to forget about the old when the new comes out. I feel that the older amps were better. Hell my amps are from what 2006 or so I think. Plus most people are not over 30 in this hobby. It is becoming more common but those of us are the old men. Very few people have any experience in the hobby that dates more than 5 years let alone 15 years or so when these amps were in the top tier.
