Craft beer is made in small "microbreweries". Usually its a little bit more expensive and mainly only sold in single bottles. Oh, and there's a tone of selections.

I can't say about buying it in the US, but here the craft beer has its own section at the liquor mart, and you definitely can't buy it a beer vendor.

Tron a lot of craft brew are sold in 6 packs here. Bobby I dont know if there is an indication on the label but asking at the liqour store they will definitely know. Once you get outside of the major brands you have heard of odds are its a craft brew.

The previous answers are right on and should help ya find craft brews local to you. I def recommend going craft if you like beer and don't mind spending a tiny bit more per pack/bottle (IMO it's totally worth it for real ingredients and actual flavor in the beer lol)

But technically speaking it's any brewery that produces less than 3500 barrels (barrel=2 kegs) a year is considered a microbrewery or "craft beer"

Usually come in 6 packs of bottles or a growler (64oz jug).. Sometimes 12 packs and I've even seen cans on occasion but it's not very common

You'll love some, hate others, but it's kind of fun to taste new flavors and styles. And some get high up there in Alcohol % too. We have a Belgian Tripel that's 9.7%. :)
