Sock is 52in^2 gonna be too much for my 8 since its sd is only a tad under 30? I did see some places suggesting you should double the SD but i wasn't sure what is good with all that but anyways thank you for drawling that up for me

welcome back guys , i have a built to do for a friend on his astro .. Im having a little bit of trouble designing his T-LINE with the subwoofer specs because it doesnt have a QMS reading and he wants it to be at 25HZ hitting hard, i believe the sub can take more and whats the best frequency to play with, space is no problem in it...bellow are the specs and whats going in , i appreciate some help..thx

12" - rockford fosgate ,hx2 punch rfd2212 dual 4ohm..

db drive A5.800.1D..800W rms @ 2ohm..

xs 14v battery..

300ho alt. by mechman..

Ok getting ready to maybe try one of these boxes, I've read every page of this thread, or at least skimmed every page.

I have 2 Sundown SD2D2 12's:

Fs: 36.8 Hz

Re: 4.0 ohms

Qms: 6.06

Qes: 0.58

Qts: 0.53

Cms: 0.08 mm/N

Mms: 225 g

BL: 18.9 NA

Vas: 30.2 L

Sens: 86.0 dB 1w/1m

Le: 2.63 mH

RMS: 500 watts

If I did the math right I'm looking at around a 100 inch port with 170 square inch area, here's a rough sketch of the box, dimensions are 48wx18hx33d, please let me know what you think:
