We were parked at the beach late one night and this knob pulls in next to us with his mk1 golf, system blarring and distorting like crazy. He gets outa the car and gives me this smirk and puts on his alarm all cool like a mofo. So I turn it up and this tosses alarm goes off. He turns around with this on his face. I never play my system in town (while driving anyways) and I've never gotten a ticket in the Yukon, well when I took the old setup out, I went to town to get some wire ties, it's around 8:00 pm, when I get pulled over. ( Mind this the whole time I'm in town I'm on the phone with my cousin, so the tunes are near off) The cop walks up ask for the paper, (I'm still on the phone, I have not the smallest clue what I have done) so I asked "Sir just why am I getting pulled over" "loud music sir" "LOUD MUSIC". I asked how he figured "I heard you coming for quite a ways "uh huh did you now". I got out of the Yukon and opened the back doors "Hmmm No System Officer". Well he got mad and wrote me a safety belt viol. for the hell of it. At least I won the battle. I dont have any good stories like that but, i remember last year some kid at my school (he has a AudiA4 with 2 w3 10's off a 500/1 that his mommy bought) kept talkin shit about my RE sx 15". He was like 1 15 cant be louder than my 2 w3s. (he has never heard mine) i said ok believe what you want. that was the end of it. about a month later he just happens to park next to my car. after school we both head to our cars and told him to check out my 15 for kicks. so i played that get crunk by lil jon. and man he was speechless. all he had to say was "thats nice man" he went in his lil audi started bumpin his(i asked if i could hear it) it sounded ok in the cabin but when i went to the trunk, it sound like a crying baby full of distortion. i lol'd chunkd the deuce and went home. We were drinkin a good bit, so we stopped and talked it up with this guy for awhile....he put 3 16oz. Bud light cans on his trunk, I think he had a 98 Escort...small ass car....this guy had 4 Solobaric 12's in his trunk. This is back in 2000 when Solobarics were one of the top subs out there. They were all in seperate boxes and angled to fit in there. They bounced more than a porn stars tits while doing jumping jacks!!!! Anyways, as some of you know...Panama City is one of the biggest and best places to go to spring break. Now I wasn't big into car audio at the time, I was just a 16 year old kid wanting to get some strange!!!
