Marquisboys
Would it be ok if i put a xs3100d in the trunk of my car? Would my alt be able to supply enough power for the 2 batteries? Also is is ok to have a smaller battery in front and a bigger one in the back? I would like to just put a 3400d in the trunk also instead of the 3100d if that would be enough power. Nathan @ XSpower
If this is for daily and you have a 250amp alt along with the 3400 upfront, then you would be fine with putting another 3400 in the back. Now if this is for competition or demo use, then putting the D3100 in the back or an XP300 would probably be better. Of course the Big3 upgrade will help either way! http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_74887_XS-Power-BIG3XS.html Edited February 20, 2014 by Nathan@XSPOWER

Marquisboys
It is a daily driver but i do go to some competitions, Oh and my car hates volts, ive changed the alt twice, i can put it in drive and volts will drop pretty low and than when i hit the gas the volts go back up. It also did this with the stock alt cause i know some H/O alts volts at idle are lower. Rich Schenk
I would put a d3400 up front and 2 d3100s in rear minimum. U would be better if u put 3-4 d3100s in rear though . I had in my tibi 327 amp alt big3 1/0 2 runs 1/0 OFC d3400 upfront and 2 d3100 in back on dc5k and 300 watt mtx amp Quote On 3/28/2014 at 4:22 PM, KyLar96 said: Its all about the music anyway..... Marquisboys
So the XP3000 would be better than the 3100d? im_quagmire
People are getting battery happy here lol.. with the alt you have you can run a d34 up front and an xp3k in the back and be perfectly fine bro. just be sure to use all the same wire to link the batts. what are you running your amp at? 1 or .5? how many runs of 0ga do you have? do not purchase 2 d31s for the rear when you are only running a nendo 3.5k . with the 2 batts mentoned above you would have 185 AH, not to mention the beefy 250Amp Alt you have. bass on my friend Quote But What Do I Know? 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS 3.8 JVC KD-R975BTS Clarion EQS746 Kenwood P907PS Ascendant Audio 12" Havoc v.1 Ampere Audio 2000.1 MB Quart Onyx 800.4 XS Power D3400 - Hood XS Power D975 - Trunk Singer 240A Sky High OFC 0 & 4 gauge Kno Knoise Kolossus Deadener
Marquisboys
Yeah firgured more than on batt in the back would be overkill lol i just have the amp at 1 ohm and just one run of 0ga. Im thinking of trying out the Crescendo 31 group battery seems like a good deal. jakmagic
Heard its better to pair the same brands of batteries and not mix and match brands. I'd stay with XS for the trunk.
