Inspiron100 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 I plan on using my iPod for the media playback on my little rinky dink system. Is it better for my to have as "flat" a sound come off my iPod to the head-unit then have a default EQ on the head unit set to "flat". Then after I have the RCAs going to my amps use the settings on the amps to bring the music to life again? i assume that there are a few variables like the head-unit and the amp quality and other things, but im just wondering as a general quality of sound type question. Aj11 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 my Android has a eq off setting but it's flat. for this reason i hate using my phone. it's weird because my last deck..um pioneer i think my system sounded amazing with my phone. cds sounded like poop (cheap $60 pioneer) and now my $125 jvc sounds great on cds (unless there burned on my laptop) and my phone makes my system sound like a wet fart! it's just annoying jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(i have unlimited data so i dont care) between those 2 i can deal with it. i just a new kenwood for $120, so when i install that i should be siting pretty untill i get some more $.
