X-15 6th order design help

Hey guys! Im shooting for a SQL daily, I know 6th orders are hard to design and more difficult for SQ.. I drive a 2013 Honda Accord Sport 6MT, So here is what I currently have Sundown X-15 in a 3.45ft^3 box tuned to 28hz via 6" aero, running off a CT Sounds 1400.1 @ 1 ohm. It sounds pretty good but i know I can more output out of it with a better line driver and better voltage (I changed my speakers but havent found a place to mount my 4 channel yet).. I plan on getting a larger batt up front and a XP2000 in the back. I want to build a new enclosure that has more NET vol and maybe lower tuning (26hz). I like to experiment so i thought of trying to do a parallel 6th order if i can design one that fits. My main concern is what should the chamber ratio be and what to shoot for tuning?

Car:
- 2013 Honda Accord Sport 6MT

- aFe SRI

Electrical:

- Big 3 w/ Execution Audio 0/1 AWG OFC
- Stock Battery

Audio:

- JBL Power Series 6.5 Comps up front (Running off HU power atm)

- JBL Power Series 2-Ways in the rear deck (Running off HU power atm)

Subwoofer:

- Sundown Audio X-15
- CT Sounds AT1400.1D (@1 ohm)

Bedroom:

- Yamaha RX-V365

- Pair of Klipsch KG4.2's

- 2 E8v3's in a 1.34ft^3 tuned to 30hz
- No Amp yet..

- CoolMax ZU900B PSU for amp

In my room & previous car:
- Amp: Soundstream TX1.1300D @ 4 ohms (520 watts)
- T-Line Enclosure tuned to 32hz

Parallel sixth could be interesting for sure. How much space do you have? In a parallel 6th you aren't really worried about chamber ratios the same as you would a series tuned bandpass.

With a parallel, you are essentially tuning two seperate enclosures that are powered by the same driver. One of them is optimized for the high end and the other for the low end ...

My current box is 28 x 15.5 x 24 (i think 24) the rest of the numbers of correct. and I can go deeper (towards the trunk) than wider or higher. i got about 19" more but would like to leave space for my amp rack which will be no more than 10" deep (box to trunk). I sketched some stuff up in WINISD but not sure how the bandwith should look since its a 6th lol.. Ill post that shortly. I was gonna have the sub face up and have chamber 1 on the bottom porting into the cabin as well as chamber 2 on top..

Those X series subs will be much efficient in a 4th order

I'm not too keen on sealed boxes. I like to have a killer low end

I agree a 4th would more efficient.

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

4 orders and sealed boxes are 2 completely different things.

I realize that, but one chamber of a fourth is sealed. I would prefer a low tuned box rather than a fourth but I want to try something different so I figured a 6th.

You can build a 4th that does well on the lows. Anything tuned say 42-50hz could still do very well on the lows. The X series work well in 4th's too from what I understand
