So the hardest part of this build was coordinating the carbon fiber work to trim out the interior of the car. Carbon fiber is big in the Porsche community so we had to put some carbon fiber on the car. Our custom DRC Carbon is a process where we carbon your original parts. In the Carbon world there are 4 options 1. Vinyl Wrap. Wrap looks good and is temporary. it does give the car a cheep look and is unable to the clear coated so it wear quickly and is very heat sensitive. 2. Hydro-dipping Hydro Dipping give the effect of carbon but the grain is too spread and does not look like real carbon. Hydro dipping is good on large parts for under the hood but the detail lacks and the process can take up to 3-4 weeks and the labor is intensive and expensive. Heavily contoured parts the pattern will stretch on collapse making the finish un-even. 3. Real Carbon- very expensive 3-6 month production time and is the real deal. 4. The DRC Carbon Process. Affordable, consistent and can be applied to any surface can be done in any color and is built to last like real carbon. the best part is a 10 business day turnaround.
