So I have some pictures of the way my sub enclosure is positioned and was wondering what I should do to make it better? Should I put a MDF board behind the wood so the sound is bouncing off that instead of the seat? Should I put the subs closer to the seat or futher? Just curious.

Build a better enclosure, there is really nothing you can do to that box to help it be better than it already is.

This is one of those where you need to build and try different things to see what will and will not work, there is just no way around it.

What sub is it first off

Edit: what type of car is it in secondly.

And last where did you get that box design or who built it for you. Also what are the specs of the box.

Remove the seat in the back and build a ported box for it IMO. Do subs up and port to the bpiller. I had the 10in version of those subs and they sounded great in a sealed box. Never treys them in a ported one tho before I sold them to get my hdc3.

Do you think adding a peice of MDF along my back seat would make it louder? Instead of taking my seat out for now? So it isnt firing against the cushion but the MDF instead?

I would aim the sub forward. When I had a sealed box that was best for me. Now that I have a ported then its sub up port up. Just have to try different placements.
