It's not that hard bro! Carpet's so forgiving! Just get some spray adhesive, spray that shit on the back of the carpet, spray it on the door pod, let it sit a few mins so it can tack up, then stick it on and try not to get any folds/creases.

If you end up getting some folds/creases that you end up not being able to get out, then just slit the fold with a razor and take the two adjacent flaps and they'll meet up.

WELL THINGS HAVE BEEN SHITTY. MY MECHANIC BAILED ON HELPING ME OUT SO IM STUCK DOING THIS ONE ON MY OWN. TORE OUT MY BATTERIES DUE TO ALOT OF OILY AND GREASY ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS THAT I WILL BE UNPLUGGING AND ITS A OLD CAR. THE LAST THING I WANT IS A WIRE TO SHORT AND FUCK SOMETHING ELSE UP. SO HERES WHATS BEEN GOING ON.... ALOT OF PARTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT AND CLEANED. I CLEAN ALL THE PARTS REMOVED AND ALOT OF THEM I AM REPLACING WITH NEW. GOTTA UNHOOK SOME OF THE SPARK PLUG WIRES AND THEN I CAN PULL THE COVER OFF THE TIMING BELT AND THEN THE FUN BEGINS. THIS IS A FIRST ONE FOR ME BTW.

I HAVE SO MUCH SHIT TORE OUT. ALTERNATOR, COOLANT RESERVOIR, HOSES, ENGINE MOUNT BRACKET, ALT BRACKETS, BELTS.

O LOOK A SHOVEL. LOL

GOTTA YANK THIS PULLEY OFF, THIS IS BEHIND A PANEL I HAD TO TAKE OFF BEHIND THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE, AND THEN THERES A COVER FOR THE TIMING BELT THAT GETS YANKED.

PARTS, PARTS, AND MORE PARTS I PULLED OUT. NEED TO PUT A METER ON BATTERIES AND SEE WHAT THEY READ. THEY HAVE BEEN SITTING FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW.

STILL WORKING UNDER THE HOOD UNFORTUNATELY. STILL GLAD IM GETTING THINGS FIXED I DIDNT EVEN KNOW WERE BROKE. THE MOTOR MOUNT I FOUND WAS BUSTED AND DRY ROTTED. THE FLEX TUBE FOR WIRING HARNESSES WERE SO OLD AND BRITTLE THE PLASTIC JUST CRUMBLED. GOT IT CLEANED UP. GOT THE TOP COVER OFF THE TIMING BELT STILL HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY OFF THE BOTTOM. IMPACT WRENCH AND TORCH AINT WORKING.... SO YEAH I KNOW THIS AINT TO EXCITING BUT I THOUGHT I WOULD JUST KEEP UPDATED WHATS GOING ON.... ONCE I GET THIS WATER PUMP FIXED I WILL BE BACK TO CAR AUDIO I HOPE!

Ok so the toyota has been down for about a month or so. I finally got it back up and running. Its actually running great! I think ill spend a day and clean her up good grab a few pics of a few small updates and maybe even a lil vid. Back to Audio finally. Im so happy i could just Anyways big updates will be coming soon. Gotta go get that money.. New amp, new wire, and little modeling in the trunk. Mhmm. ya know when a month without your system feels like a year.
