Bship
I have had two of them, the first one I cooked the shit out of and it broke. totally my fault. the second one is in my car on .5 daily with zero problems. I'm about to drop the first one back in once it is fixed and run them together at 2ohm each so I don't murder my electrical. CJ18
ANy amp sent back with vibration damage is 100% user error, nothing like that can be blamed on the manufacture. The BC5500s are solid amplifiers. If you have any questions about them, shoot myself or Jeff a message, we would be more than happy to help. ChevyBoy95
vibration issues has nothing to do with an amps quality, it has to do with the installers lack of ability. NO amp is immune to vibration. That local dealer near you needs to learn where he should mount his amps. Failure do to vibration is a installer/user error. im_quagmire
you can also use rubber bushings to absorb vibration. also, if mounted to the floor, false floor, or something on the car, use the bushings and place sound deadener under the amp to absorb a lot of the vibration.. ...bass on my friend But What Do I Know? 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS 3.8 JVC KD-R975BTS Clarion EQS746 Kenwood P907PS Ascendant Audio 12" Havoc v.1 Ampere Audio 2000.1 MB Quart Onyx 800.4 XS Power D3400 - Hood XS Power D975 - Trunk Singer 240A Sky High OFC 0 & 4 gauge Kno Knoise Kolossus Deadener

MASTER T KILLA
Personally I think it looks stupid when people mount amps on boxes especially since people who don't know any better usually mount capacitors right next to them. Although I have seen someone build a elevated amp rack to an enclosure so it kinda served as a buffer but still. I wouldn't do that. 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS (CVB 25th Chapter) Alpine Head Unit stock 6x9's Powerbass ASA 1500.1Dx FC 1200 krank-it up battery HC 800 Kinetik battery Orion HCCA 12.4 in slot ported box wired down to 2 ohms Audiopipe 1/0 gauge wire Rockford fosgate ring terminals Subscribe to the Youtube page http://www.youtube.com/user/TManMusicPage
ChevyBoy95
Yea, you can mount them to a box, but you have to make absolutely sure the walls dont flex a single iota or it limits the life span.
