gauge recommendation for speaker wire.

Sometimes 16 gauge is cheaper because it's more popular. Just a thought.

yeah but did you actually read the description? 16gauge will never handle 1 ohm and over 750rms. or can be?

How do you figure one run of wire would have to support 750 Watts RMS? There are 4 speakers in question, are there not? That brings my math to, let's say 190 Watts per speaker wire. Yeah, 14 gauge can handle that.

I would do 12 gauge but I always do over kill on speaker wire may be fine on 14 guage though

planning to get http://showtimecaraudio.net/shop/2-channel/x-300-2-2-channel-amplifier-1500w/ for 8 pwx 6"s would be 4 per channel at 1 ohm but what gauge should i use for the speaker wire? i was wondering if 14 gauge shca ofc would work . thanks .

no because i would do i single run to the first speaker , and run from first to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th

I just wanted to throw it out there that there are people pushing 2k plus through 12 and 8 gauge wiring for sub with no issue....
