mmotux
So I got a job guys! If you didn't know I'm 19 and JUST graduated! My head unit is a Pioneer DEH - X5600HD and my amp for mids and highs is A Dual XPR 520. So I was looking at Rockford Fosgate Punch P1694... Are they good? I'm looking for something around that price range so recomenations would be helpful:) ALSO. Many of you have recomended me some amps for my JL Audio W1v2's. I'm running my two 12's in a sealed enclousure. I need a new one so if you could tell me a good amp too it would be helpful! Thanks all!

xxgokouxx
I'd think if you were more specific it would help a bit more.... Headunit, amplifier for the mids & highs, tuning, box for the W1v2's, SIZE of the w1v2's. Be more specific and I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help People don't like it when there's room for so many possibilities. I for one wouldn't want to be held liable for someone's system being blown, or being called out on a bad recommendation based on missing information they've stated GL! Cardboardcat15
Gotta be more specific with budget for amp/what car you have. Those 6x9s will work fine. Majority of members here don't really use 6x9s for primary listening. My personal suggestion is that if you don't NEED them I.E. they're rear fill/rear deck speakers, don't bother buying them and save some money. Focus on your front stage with a decent set of components. if you DO need them I.E. your front doors stock location only fits 6x9s (my truck is like that) then those will be fine. Here's an amp that will serve you well for the 12's. EDIT the Q1-750. http://www.soundqubed.com/Mono-Block_c_29.html As for the box, there's a decent amount of box builders on here that are happy to sell you a design if you're willing to build it. Thank you for your help. And yeah I drive a dodge ram 1500 ex cab so my front speakers are 6x9's. And thank for for telling me a amp. The subwoofers are 300w RMS so that 750 should do great i'm guessing? Just trying to get everything together in my truck:)
