Gatorsogone
I have a 2015 fusion hybrid and I initially called crutchfield and they tried the 1000 dollar sales pitch on me wiring dedicated battery isolator regulator blah blah I'm running an old school ppi a1200 and 2 a300s I never have had any issue the stock battery is small in size and capacity at 1800 mah but I simply swapped it out with an optima blue top and a 2 farrard capacitator and since the battery is in the trunk there's no big 3 upgrade simply upgrade the battery ground and run less than 8 feet of 0 gauge for your power wires in the trunk and done I'm pulling down over 1500 watts and about 380 amps on a 500 amp breaker in the trunk and I have never had voltage lower than 13.8 so shame on crutchfield the regenerative recharge system produces right at 407 amps in return and as energy is required the car automatically monitors and determines which battery to charge which for the record it can charge both batteries at once
bigtimecubfan
@Gatorsogone have you had any issues with engine noise going through speakers? I currently have a 2017 ford fusion hybrid and has the issue of engine noise when gas kicks in. I am about to take the amps out of the trunk and set them under the front seats.
