pstone11
I have owned two of these 5" random orbit sanders. I should have never bought the second one. I purchased the first one about 18 months ago from Home Depot. It lasted through moderate use for just over a year, then started sparking and freaking out. I figured it had worked ok, and 40$ isn't a bad price, so I picked up a second one about 5 months ago also from Home Depot. It is toast already, the internal bearings are shot and it smells like burning electrical bad.. If you want a one-use sander go for it, but step up the prce range if your tools get tons of use.. Picked up a Ridgid R2600 sander today, we'll see how it hangs after a few projects. Quote Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
