The box is what plays the role in determining the exact power handling of a woofer so we can't really tell you how much you can run to your specific sub because it's different for every application. sundownz Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 In technical terms... the coil is very big and is comparable to many other subs rated for higher power levels. The suspension is also almost impossible to damage anywhere near rated power. Provided the enclosure is good they are very rugged.
