How many watts RMS of mids & highs for 4k-5k watts rms on subs?

I would think 2 PA6.5s possibly 3 per door on 100w each should do fine. And 1 possibly two 2 tweeters per door.

edit: as other have said there are pros and cons to running PA (Pro Audio vs good sq components)

pros: get loud

cons: lack on the lower range, may be harsh, generally won't sound as nice as SQ components

Depends on how loud you want to play it.Pa are nice when going full tilt.but the low end extestion you loose on them can make it sound like your missing something.I run 4 atomic qt-6 (2 each door) with 180watts to each. With hybrid leg v 4" in pillar on 80 watts and with DD German tweet with 120 watts .

I run it with my two DD m4a mid volume it dose good

Full tilt it does OK.

Im running about 4k to my subs.

I have 2 Hertz HiEnergy Tweets and 2 Ascendant CF 7" Mids.. On maybe like 400wrms.. They keep up pretty well. For 5k though.. Id want another pair of each.

OR maybe go the Pro Audio route..
