DollarBill1
I am planning on a wall with two Nightshade V3 18's. I already have my NS -1 V2. This is going in a 09 Chevy 2500HD so for batteries I'm running two XS D 4800's under the hood and planning on one XS D3100 in cab. Talked to Singer and probably running a 320A 6 phase. This is gonna be a daily driver and will prolly never compete so I am wondering if this will be enough electrical to run the NS-1 at 1 ohm. Also I have been advised to run the box at 16 cubes at 40hz. Thanks for any advice or input. ChevyBoy95
I would add another D3100 and drop that tuning if it is for daily. Who would suggest 40hz tuning for a DD? I would do ~35hz Quote Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/
CleanSierra
8 cubes per 18 seems like a bunch for a Sundown driver. I'm not at all familiar with the very custom Nightshade V3 thought. CleanSierra
That box is big, tuning is high, and id want more electrical. I would also want more reserve. Add 2 more Group 31s.The general idea and choice in equipment sounds fierce though. Where did you decide to run the cubic feet that you listed? DollarBill1
Three 3100's and two 4800's wouldn't that kinda be much for one NS-1? How many runs of 1/0 do y'all suggest? ToNasty
Depending on the alt 2 runs or 1/0 at the most. Ofc Quote ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
CleanSierra
Do you like holding voltage? If so, then 3 Group 31s is not top much at all. That amp is a beast, and it's going to suck voltage. I'd do 2 runs of 1/0 OFC. Each line should be good for around 350A depending on length.
