Wont lock up the motor talked to my dad about it and he said the same thing. just popped in my head because i read about them failing on 2v's. worst case would be what, fucking a cam up? Idk, the more I think about a tensioner failing, cam getting fucked up, and valves sticking shut.... and a cylinder failing to release exhaust....makes me think of a possible bent rod/valve. The 2v's had a horrible problem with the tensioner. i think they fixed that issue when they switched over to the 3v 4.6's (SOHC), like orionstang has. could be many things but my bet is on oil pump failure or main and/or rod bearing.
